Lighting 101

I used warm indoor lighting photography to serve as a reference for the type of light that you might find coming through a house window. Utilizing a combination of Redshifts new Sun and Sky rig, with a portal light and an indoor HDRI I was able to tone the image till I found something appropriate. Then I created a fake window frame and a procedural tree to diffuse the light and add variation to the environments.
